UMA Galeria stems from a fundamental and enduring premise: to create space, time, and visibility exclusivity for emerging artists based in Portugal.
This project is the culmination of a journey begun by Cláudia Cordeiro thirteen years ago under the name Apaixonarte, a stage that allowed her to build a community and showcase the work of over a hundred young artists.
In 2026, preserving its philosophy and location, UMA Galeria emerges with a new curatorial direction and a renovated space, focusing on presenting original artworks and creating contemporary art exhibitions. We aim to promote moments of encounter and sustained relationships with the artists we represent, as well as with the collectors who share our vision.
