Constança Duarte is an illustrator and ceramic artist. She enjoys freezing movement in images and reflecting on the dichotomy between the rush of everyday life and solitude.
A creator of imaginary worlds, strange creatures and dogs with questionable anatomy, she dedicates herself to analogue techniques as a way of preserving opportunities for mistakes. Uncertainty feeds her curiosity and it is her most trusted collaborator. She works in different scales and techniques but has a soft spot for blue and grey colors and for creatures with big ears. Above all, she cannot live without inventing stories and also does not show much interest in learning.
