Dylan Silva (Lausanne, 1993) is a multidisciplinary artist based in Porto who works primarily with painting, sculpture, and drawing. With a degree in Multimedia from the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Porto, he pursues an intuitive practice, exploring different materials and media.
His work centers on personal memory and the human figure, often represented by diffuse, fragmented, or anonymous forms. The works emerge as silent narratives, evoking traces of incomplete stories, in a territory between presence and oblivion. In his most recent watercolors, rendered in cool, melancholic tones, he explores human contact as a distant memory, almost dissolving.
At the same time, he has actively contributed to Porto’s independent art scene, co-founding “Sábado-Feira” and “Senhora Presidenta” (2018–2025), and has presented his work in national and international exhibitions and fairs.
Dylan Silva presented the solo exhibition SLOW AFTER FORM at UMA Gallery in 2026. The artist shared his thoughts behind the works on display and other topics related to his artistic journey in UMA Dialogues with Dylan Silva.
